Who are the Commissioners and why should I contact them?
Public Utility Commissions or Public Service Commissions are state agencies that provide oversight and regulate investor-owned or privately-owned utilities that provide electric, gas, water, wastewater and/or telephone services. Each commission has three to five commissioners who are appointed by the Governor or, in some cases, elected. Below is a directory of Commissions that regulated electric utilities in each state in the west. We encourage you to contact the commissioners and ask them to support policies and investments promoting clean energy.
